Terms Licences
What is yours,

01 — Rabaska OS
Rabaska OS, its look, its tools, and this page are protected.
© 2026. All rights reserved. No free licence is granted
on Rabaska OS.
The buyer of a computer that includes it receives a
right to use that copy: to use the
machine. Not a right to copy, extract, publish, or
redistribute the system.
02 — Linux, Lubuntu, and included programs
The Linux kernel and base system programs — Lubuntu,
Ubuntu, LXQt, Calamares, the apps shipped with them — stay
under their original licences (often GPL).
Those licences bind everyone. The proprietary part is
only the Rabaska layer on top (look, menu,
day-one assistant, French updates).
Gemini (the AI assistant in the bar) belongs to Google. It is
not part of Rabaska OS in the sense of a licence granted
by us.
03 — Trademarks
“Rabaska OS” is a product trademark. Linux® is a trademark of
Linus Torvalds. Ubuntu, Lubuntu, LXQt, Firefox, Thunderbird,
Chromium, LibreOffice, Google, and the other names cited
belong to their owners. No affiliation.
